It all about chickens now!  Meet Bessie, who rules the hen house.  She is a Golden Sex-Link.  Bessie has a great personality and lays a wonderful large egg.

Jars that never go out of style.  The yellow lid is a Duke's Mayonnaise lid.

Pantry

My pantry is filling up.  The bottom rows are quarts and four deep.  The wooden (just added) shelf  three pint jars deep. Also a lot of half gallon jars with dehydrated goods.. All this year and the season really hasn't started yet.  There is another shelf with GROCERY store STUFF, washer,dryer sand sink. Not a lot of room but certainly enough.

Grape Juice

Just wash your grapes, place about 1 1/2 cups of grapes in a clean jar and pour boiling water over the grapes and do a water bath for 25 mins.  That's it.  Most people would add 1/2 of sugar or at least 1/4 I did not add any.

Soup

On the left is Maple-Walnut Syrup and the left is Praline Syrup.  Recipe taken from the Ball Home Preserve book.  Next time I think I would double each recipe.
